Size 10 and Healthier

I've started on The Scarsdale Medical Diet last Monday and I've lost 8 pounds already! Yes, it's a fast weight loss procedure. And contrary to what most people would think, it's NOT unhealthy nor is it dangerous because of the rapid weight loss.

The Scarsdale Medical Diet specifies a very specific and structured diet that is to be followed exactly for the first 14 days, another 14 day period follows that still specifies certain foods to eat, but is less structured and allows additional foods.[1] A grapefruit for breakfast each day is meant to supply enzymes necessary for burning the 700-calorie per day diet. Artificial sweeteners are used in place of sugar.

I've been following a strict diet plan for 2 weeks. No rice, white bread, and pasta. It's a drastic change from my eating habits, I have to say. After being overweight my entire life, this is going to be a real challenge for me. But I'm determined to overcome it. I'm determined to complete the diet. And I'm determined to reset my lifestyle and start living healthier.

Ever since I started on the Scarsdale, I've been more thoughtful of what I take in. I make sure to eat healthier food options. I'm living without rice now! And, according to my cousin, "RICE = LIFE". LOL. Yes, maybe it was the same for me before, but now, I know better. I can definitely live without rice.

And I've been munching on carrots for snacks! Would you believe that? Haha. Yes, I am really amazed by how disciplined I have gotten to be.

And no Starbucks. Being a coffee-addict, this has got to be the hardest change in my life. I looove coffee. And I love it with all the creamer and sugar it comes with. Oh and let's not forget the whipped cream on top. But that has to go. I can still drink coffee, actually, but it has to be black. Or I can add a sugar substitute too.

Speaking of sugar substitute, I just recently bought a box of Splenda. I'm going to use this sweetener from now on instead of sugar. Yes for healthier options!

So, that's about it. I'm going to update you soon about my progress. Right now, I'm just excited to prepare my meals everyday.

And if you're curious, yes I am gunning for a size 10 in the future. That's not the sexiest size but that's a lot smaller than my current size. So yes, let's hope all will turn out well for me. 0--(^O^)--0

Consider It Sold

Yes, I've made my first sale. I just recently sold my CNBLUE Ear Fun Limited Edition (Yonghwa Version) thru Sulit.com.ph  and I am satisfied. I'm sure the album's new owner will definitely love it just as much if not more than me.

It's officially starting.

I am finally ending, ever so slowly, my fan-girl life.

S-L-O-W-L-Y.

I have to more albums up for sale. :3

Zap. Zap. Zap.

Had my 1st session of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Hair Removal last week at Aesthetic Hub in Ortigas. I found out about this one thru my office friends. They invited me to avail of the shop's on-going promo - just Php99 per part per session.

I've been hearing about this IPL procedure for sometime now, mostly because Del's (RX93.1 DJ, The Morning Rush) been promoting/advertising it on their show a lot!

We went to the clinic during lunch break since it was a work day. We were running like crazy because it was all our first time to have the procedure done and we're not sure how long it's going to take and we only have an hour before going back to work.

There was just one customer when we arrived at the place but it looks like she was just about to leave. So we gave our yellow slips to the lady and waited to be called. I was actually hoping of being the third to go. I gave my slip after my two friends. But guess what, I was lucky number one!

So I entered the room where everything's going to take place. It was just a small room with the machine at the side. I wasn't able to check on the IPL machine further because we were in a hurry. So the lady who's going to do the procedure told me to remove my top and lie down with my arms stretched out - I was having the IPL on my underarms. Then she asked me if I've put on deodorant today and I said no because I'm not really using those stuffs. Then she told me it's going to sting a little, she said it'll feel like I've been hit by a rubber band. I was like "oh.. okay."

Oh before I forget, she told me to put on these weird goggles. Pretty much the same as the one on the picture above. After, she applied this cream on my underarms, I'm not really sure what it was but it felt cold to my skin. Then it started. It was just as she said, it stung but the pain was tolerable. BEAUTY IS PAIN! And it was so quick. After the shots, she applied another layer of cream on my pits.

The standard was to have 3 shots of IPL on each underarm but she recommended for me to have 6. So after the session, I had to pay extra for additional shots.

I also bought this cream which you have to put on your underarm for 3 days, morning and night time. It was Php400. After this and for the whole duration of the IPL treatment (the lady said that it'll take about 5 sessions for the hair to be completely gone) we were told not to use any deodorant or whitening bath soaps for our underarms. They actually have this substitute to deodorant but it costs Php500++ which was way beyond my budget already. And since I don't really use a deo, I opted not to get it.

Overall, my first session for the IPL treatment went okay. The skin clinic personnels were nice and friendly.  There will be no visible changes yet as of now since this is just the 1st session. Maybe after the second or third, I'll be able to notice some changes.

I'll keep you guys posted! ^^

Taking My First Step Once Again

I'm about to let go of my albums. /sobs/

ARGGHHH~

But I have those limited editions. I can't believe I'm about to give them up. I have CNBLUE First Step Special Limited Edition Album and it's like hard to get that now. And I HAVE one copy!! ME! I HAVE IT. But I'm about to let it go.

Arggghhhh~

Eottoke??

Really, why am I doing this?

This is the start of me going back to living my real life. I said I'm going to stop being a fangirl after CNBLUE's concert in Manila. I did try to stop for a week. But sadly, I can't fight the urge to go back. So I went back to my fangirl life. I failed. I feel like my life has been occupied with K-Pop for as long as I can remember.

So yeah, I'm going to try this one more time.

Let's see what'll happen next. :3
