KinnPorsche The Series World Tour Manila

Guess what I just did on a whim? I bought a ticket to watch KinnPorsche: The Series World Tour after hearing about it just the night before of the event! Okay first things first, you might be wondering what KinnPorsche: The Series World Tour is all about. To say simply, it is a world tour of the casts of the Thai action romance drama show KinnPorsche: The Series .  What is this Thai drama about, you may ask? Basically, it is another gem of a Boys Love or BL drama from Thailand but this time the backdrop is the world of the mafia. I won’t be talking about the drama itself on this post and instead reserve that for another post but the gist is the heir of a mafia clan meets a guy, hires him as his bodyguard, and eventually they fall for each other. Of course there is more to their story but again I will do a deep-dive on that next time. This series is headlined by Mile Phakphum Romsaithong and Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat . You have to believe me when I say these two guys are such ...

It's All or Nothing for 2NE1's 2nd Manila Concert

Last Saturday, I was lucky finally watch 2NE1 perform live during their All or Nothing Concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. 2NE1 is a South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment consisting of 4 members: CL , Park Bom , Sandara Park , and Minzy . A day before the event, I was contemplating whether to actually buy a ticket or not. Although I am a huge fan of the K-pop group, I'm kind of worried about the cost as I am after all just a struggling 9-to-5 employee. But after half a day of weighing the pros and cons, I decided I must not let this opportunity to see the four ladies of YGE slip. This might be the last time they'll be holding a concert in Manila, for all I know. And besides, I've already regretted not watching BIGBANG before. I don't want that to happen again. So fast forward to D-day, and I found myself standing in line, along with thousands of other Filipino Blackjacks, waiting for the venue gates to open. It was a very hot and hum...

BMPH Nostalgia

I'm going to be posting some photos that I took during CNBLUE's Blue Moon Concert in Manila. I almost forgot about these thinking I only took videos. Anyway, these are not-so-good photos but still bring back happy memories of when I first watched CNBLUE perform live in front of me. ^.^

Blue Moon in Manila

How do I even begin this fan account? Yesterday was crazy. I was basically dragging my feet going home as I was too tired from the long day but it was all worth it. Finally seeing Jung Yong Hwa , Lee Jong Hyun , Kang Min Hyuk , and Lee Jung Shin of CNBLUE perform live in front of me is truly a dream come true. The concert was scheduled to start at 8:00 PM while gates open at 6:00 PM but I went to the venue early so I won’t have to worry about being stuck in traffic or something. I was there at around 3:00 in the afternoon and good thing the concert venue was next to shopping malls so I was just mindlessly strolling while waiting for the time. I lined up at around 4:00 PM and thankfully they opened the gates and let everyone in at exactly 6:00 PM, so I only need to stand in line for about 2 hours. Of course, it’s nothing compared to yesterday’s. While we were let into the building early, we had to wait again to enter the main coliseum where the concert will take place. It seems like...

Blue Moon in Manila Press Conference

What a day! I can’t believe I finally saw CNBLUE in person right in front of me. Well, technically, they were a couple of meters away from where I was standing but you get the point. And they look just as good as I imagined they would be, probably even better.  This is going to be a chronicle of how that eventful day went. The press conference for CNBLUE was scheduled to happen a day before their actual concert. It was a free event. I arrived at SM Megamall about 10 minutes before the shopping center opens and was surprised to see a huge crowd has already gathered by the entrance. This is my first official K-Pop event so I wasn’t really prepared for anything. Imagine my surprise when as soon as the mall doors opened, everyone literally went crazy pushing and trying to get past other people at the entrance. Fortunately, I was able to get inside fast as well. When I went past security, everyone was running. It was a mad dash to the lower floor where the stage was located.  I ...
