Well not so recently as I think I completed this series about a month ago and only now got the chance to write about it. I have been busy with other mundane stuff as I am now living solo and only just recently decided to return to blogging again. Hello again everyone! Today is the second to the last day of November and we are nearing the Christmas holidays once again. Hopefully you are staying healthy, safe, and sane while trying to keep up with all the holiday rush around you. As you can tell with the title of this post, I will be talking about the recently concluded Thai Boys Love (BL) drama Love in the Air starring some of the best newbie actors I have ever come across with as yet. Guess what I just did on a whim? I bought a ticket to watch KinnPorsche: The Series World Tour after hearing about it just the night before of the event! Okay first things first, you might be wondering what KinnPorsche: The Series World Tour is all about. To say simply, it is a world tour of the casts of the Thai action romance drama show KinnPorsche: The Series .  What is this Thai drama about, you may ask? Basically, it is another gem of a Boys Love or BL drama from Thailand but this time the backdrop is the world of the mafia. I won’t be talking about the drama itself on this post and instead reserve that for another post but the gist is the heir of a mafia clan meets a guy, hires him as his bodyguard, and eventually they fall for each other. Hey everyone! I am back with another post on the topic of Thai BL. This time, I will be talking about the series, My Engineer . I know this drama is not easily accessible to the viewers compared to the other dramas I had previously watched. My Engineer is a 2020 Thai Boys Love series by Tencent Video, a Chinese-owned video streaming website giant. Unlike all the dramas I've seen before which were made by GMMTV , My Engineer is not readily available for all countries. There are some regions that have no access to it which I believe added to the reason why this drama did not get as much recognition. A twist to my usual review, I will be focusing on the side couple, Ram and King which were played by Perth Nakhun Screaigh and Lay Talay Sanguandikun respectively. I have not watched that many BL shows yet so my list will be pretty short. But if you are into Thai BL as well, my guess is that you will be familiar with most, if not all, of the couples I will be listing. So let's begin. Aside from K-Pop (and sadly the pandemic ), 2020 was also a huge year for Thai Boys Love dramas or BL . Whether you prefer innocent and cute pairings or more mature and steamy romance stories, for sure there is a BL show that will match your taste. BL is, until today, still a niche genre. While the number of people enjoying it has grown dramatically in the previous years, I do believe it still has yet to reach the same level of appreciation the majority of mainstream dramas are receiving.
