It's Been A While

I haven't been blogging for a while meh. Too much going on in my head that I can't seem to organize my thoughts. Maybe later today, I might post something about Yonghwa's drama, Marry Him If You Dare. Maybe.

I just did some early Christmas shopping last Sunday. We went to Divisoria to buy some stuff I'll be using for my office gifts. Are you feeling the holiday spirit, yet? I am. I'm so excited for Christmas to come!

Block B: Be The Light

I started being a fan of Block B during their Nillili Mambo promotions. I saw their comeback stage on Music Bank and instantly turned into a BBC. Well, okay. I don't really call myself a BBC yet. Because for one, I don't really follow them - all their activities, their tv guestings and others. And during their past controversies, I wasn't there to support nor defend them. I was just indifferent.

But I love their music! Take note: LOVE. I'm surprised to be captivated by such a young group. Because as I've said before, I don't give any attention at all to rookie groups. But apparently, Block B is an exceptional exception to that.

I love their music! Did I say that before? Anyway, yes. They have this music style and appeal that reminds me of BIGBANG but I don't think they're trying to copy them. It's just that this style is very apt for Block B. Their music suits them well. It's strong. Just like how I perceive them to be.
And now, Block B is definitely back with their album entitled Very Good. And yes, they all seem very good in my opinion. This album is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I LOVE IT! All the tracks, I can listen to them all day on repeat. I'm not one bit disappointed. It's so good!

I especially love the song Be The Light. I love the melody, the tempo, the beats. I love the voices - the harmonies, transitions, blending. Ugh! I just love this song!

It sounded sad but not like brooding or miserable. It's like you're reaching for something positive. I feel like it's giving me something to look forward to, something to hope for. Something to hold on to. That's how deep that song affects me every time I listen to it.

And after reading the English translation for the lyrics, I felt more attached to it. It has some really good, heartfelt words. I'm guessing probably Block B is trying to reach out to BBCs. I feel weirdly emotional thinking of it that way. A song so emotional and sincere. It's beautiful.

Be the light
Shine on my black and hidden heart
Melt me from being frozen
So that I’ll be so dazzling
That no one else can look at me

I hope Block B will grow stronger and better as artists. Their music is strong and powerful. Their talents are undeniably something to look forward to. I'm just so happy to come across their music, their group. I hope to listen to more of Block B's songs in the future. But for now, let's all marvel at their latest album Very Good, one so beautifully and passionately made.

Korean Drama: Choice of the Future

I am highly, highly anticipating this new KBS drama that's going to start on the 14th of October 2013, Choice of Future (also Mirae Seontaek; Mirae's Choice; Marry Him If You Dare). It will air every Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 KST.

Why, you might ask? Well that's because it stars uri leader, CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, that's why~!!! WAAAAAAA~!!!! More chances to see Yong's perfection twice a week~!

Anyway, here's a quick plot to this drama taken from

"Marry Him If You Dare" depicts the love and work of people who work in a broadcasting station. A woman, who works as a writer at the broadcasting station goes back in time and meets herself in the past. The woman gives advice to herself in the past.

And Yong Hwa will be playing Park Se Ju (or Se Joo):

Jung Yong Hwa plays the role of Park Se Joo, an undercover boss who pretends to be a new employee of a broadcasting company. He will mask his sharp charisma as a boss with a soft gentleness for his role, which will delight viewers with his dual charm. (cr soompi)

I am so excited for this to start! I cannot wait for October 14 to come!! I'm happy that Yong Hwa was given the opportunity to work on a project that's not high school-ish. I have nothing against high school dramas. Just that, this particular project will be good for improving Yong Hwa's acting skills.

Korean Drama: The Heirs

I just finished watching episodes 1 & 2 of the latest Korean drama, The Heirs (also The Inheritors). The drama stars Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Kang Min Hyuk, Krystal, Park Hyungsik, and a lot more.

The Heirs is a romantic-comedy, high school SBS drama that airs every Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It depicts of the friendships and love lives of young, rich heirs and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye), who is considered ordinary and comes from a poor family.

So far, I'm liking the story. The drama seems promising. Maybe the idea of a damsel in distress falling in love with some unrealistically wealthy high school guy is too over-used but I'm not complaining. It's entertaining. And it's romantic, in a knight-in-shining-armor kind of way I guess.

I also like the casts. I don't really know most of them aside from the idol actors. Mianhe~ I'm not really a fan of Korean dramas. I have to note though that some are a little awkward when throwing their lines.

I have to admit I am giving this drama time because of Kang Min Hyuk. I'm a BOICE after all. Kkkkkk~ But I'm amazed at Min Hyuk's acting! He's not awkward at all! He seems natural in front of the camera. And no I haven't watched his other dramas before so yeah.

And then there's Park Shin Hye, who's doing a really good job for her character. And plus she's just G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! Each time her face flashes on-screen, which is a lot of times by the way, I'm just in awe of her beauty!

And Lee Min Ho is such an eye candy!! OH MY GOSH!! I'm like, why wasn't I a fan of this beautiful creature?? I should have attended both of his past events here in our country!

And I think Shin Hye-Min Ho is a really lovely, gorgeous pair. But Shin Hye-Min Hyuk is also catching my eye. They'd be really cute if they'd be couples too! Waaaaa~!!! TOO CUTE!!! I CANNOT~!!!

Finally, if you have some extra time to spend on watching K-dramas, give The Heirs a try. It's good!

Spend A Little Time

BDO: We Don't Find Ways

I don't know about other banks, but apparently BDO closes its client's accounts without any notice. I just learned today that my account has been closed and I wouldn't even know of it if my sister had not informed me that her buyer cannot deposit her payment on my account number.

Like, really? BDO decides to just close down an account without any notice? Given that for some emergency reason I wasn't able to keep the maintaining balance required for my account, them closing the account would be justifiable. But the MAJOR POINT is, they did not even bother giving me a notice - email, text message, phone call. As in NONE at all! What happened to their "We Find Ways" commitment?

Oh and it was like just 7 days since I last withdrew. Woah! Talk about fast service. They immediately had it closed after that?! Seriously?

Now, I'm contemplating on whether to have my account re-opened or just transfer to BPI instead. What's positive about BDO kasi is that they have a lot of branches and the mall branches are open on weekends.

So far, these are the only guys I've seen. I wonder if there's more out there. LOL. Another reason to watch Thai movies, aside from their cute and light rom-com ones, the eye-candies! It never hurts to see a gorgeous guy on your screen, right?

Did they make you drool as well?

First Kiss: 2012 Thai Movie

I recently came across this rom-com Thai movie titled Rak Sud Tai Pai Na or First Kiss. It was shown last year, January 2012 to be exact.

The story revolves around a 25-year-old woman and a high school boy who accidentally shared a kiss on a bus. He then becomes infatuated by her even though she ignores his advances. Things hot up when her first love re-enters her life. This encourages the high school boy to try even harder to win her heart.

It stars Kaneungnich Jaksamithanon (Sa) and Thakrit Hamannopjit (Bass) who are both very visually appealing for me, I must point out.

Okay so maybe the age gap was a tad too much for my liking. I mean, if I caught up correctly, they have an 8-year age gap. Uhm.. Yeah sure. Age doesn't matter in love. But still, it is unusual for me. But anyway, aside from my issue with the age gap, the movie was generally nice. It was light and gives off the right amount of chick-flick vibe. I don't know about Thai culture but I've been kind of noticing most of their movies have an older woman-young man love line. Oh but I'm not complaining. This pair has great chemistry on-screen! Plus in real life they only have 5-years of age gap!!

And Thakrit is really, really super cute. His eyebrows are woah~ Haha. And for the record, Thakrit was born on April 10, 1990 - which makes him just a year younger than me. Glad to have pointed that out! LOL.

Because.. Really.. HE. IS. GORGEOUS. I hope he'll have more movies soon so I can drool at his handsomeness appreciate his acting skills more.

So, here have some more of Thakrit's gorgeousness. LMAO.
Warning: there's a SHIRTLESS pic here. Scroll down at your own risk! Kkkkkk~!!!

And while you're at it, try checking out the movie as well if you haven't yet. Don't expect too much crying scenes from it though. It's not heavy drama. But it's a good watch nonetheless.

Have a great night!
